After a strong showing through his first six games, Tyrone Bronte has been traded to the Omaha Lancers of the USHL. Bronte, a Knights tender from Australia, scored three goals and three assists in September, assisting two game-winners. As an 18-year old newcomer to the NAHL, his play at the league’s Blaine showcase caught the attention of scouts in attendance.
“Coming from midget hockey, Tyrone made a great adjustment to the tier-II junior level,” said Knights head coach Tom Kowal. “He has the skill set, instincts, and attitude to continue to succeed as he moves forward with his career. I wish him the best of luck.”
Though his stay may have been brief, Tyrone’s contributions played a significant role in the Knights 5-1 start. The Knights organization thanks him for his time with the team and wishes Tyrone the best of luck as he moves on to Omaha.
