The Knights will hold their annual “Paint the Rink Pink Night” in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month next Saturday, October 22, 2011. There will be ton of festivites for the family to enjoy including: Two junior hockey games, intermission games and contests, chuck – a – puck contest, bake sale, breast cancer t-shirt sale, prize give-a-ways and a live pink jersey auction.
The Knights will be sporting their pink “New York Rangers” style jerseys with pink and white socks. Every jersey will be auctioned off after the game with a silent auction during the game.
The MET team takes on the Richmond Generals at 4:00pm and the AJHL team will battle the Portland Jr. Pirates at 7:35pm. All proceeds from ticket sales, bake sale, t-shirt sale, chuck-a-puck, 50/50 split and jersey auction will go a local cancer rehabilition center.
