The WBS Knights AJHL and MET teams will open their season tonight against division rivals, the Washington Junior Nationals.
The evening will be filled with excitement as the Knights look to get the jump start they need tobegin the season. “We have a great group of players and we plan on being the best team in the league,” stated AJ/MET Head Coach Justin Lyle. Both Lyle and Jon Park (Assistant AJ/MET Coach) will make their debuts behind the bench of the Knights.
“We have a great coaching staff,” stated Paul Maciejewski, General Manager. “We made a few adjustments and feel that we have the right personel in place to move our program in the right direction. Keep a look out for the Knights amidst the top of our division this season.”
The MET game will start at 4:00pm at the Revolution Ice Centre and the AJHL game will follow after. Puck drop for the AJHL game will be 7:35pm.
