The Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Knights will enter their second season of junior hockey in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League and Metropolitan Junior Hockey League. It is the Knights mission to develop young athletes in a junior hockey environment and present them with an opportunity to train and develop into NEXT LEVEL players.

With our highly certified and professional staff along with our State of the Art facilities, we offer a unique opportunity for our student athletes to maximize skill development along with strength, conditioning and agility. The Knights organization would like to introduce you to the new member of our organization: Justin Lyle – AJHL Head Coach (USHL), Darryl Belfry – Player Development Advisor (NHL), Jonathon Park (Fusion Goalie Development), and Alex Vasko – Russian Skills Coach (USHL/Europe).

The Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Junior Knights Hockey Club is the organizations youth program. It was developed in 2005 to provide an opportunity for aspiring young athletes in Northeastern PA to enjoy the sport of ice hockey in a safe, challenging, competitive, and educational environment.

Our passion for this sport is demonstrated by the commitment of the coaches, administrators, parents and most importantly our players on a daily basis in and out of the rinks. In just five short years, the organization has become part of the Atlantic Youth Hockey League, one of the top youth leagues in the country.

The Junior Knights success has provided the opportunity to bring junior hockey to Northeast PA. Along with such great athletic opportunities, the most important mission for each hockey player remains to be personal and emotion awareness, growth, and a feeling of success.

We look forward to welcoming your family into the culture of hockey here in the northeast where our focus is on the four pillars of Knights hockey: Character, Academics, Athletics, and Community.
