In only their second season in franchise history, the WBS Knights will host the 2011 MET League Kickoff Showcase at the Revolution Ice Centre the weekend of September 16-18. All 20 MET League teams will participate in this Showcase Event in front of college scouts from the entire Northeast.
“We would like to thank the entire MET League for giving us the opportunity to host the Kickoff Showcase in September,” stated GM Paul Maciejewski. “We are focused on the players and showcasing their skills to college coaches and scouts across the Northeast and we feel that we are in a great location for many SUNYAC and ECAC schools to attend.
The Showcase kicks off Friday, September 16th at 2:30pm and continues throughout the entire weekend. The Knights will take on the Long Island Royals, Boston Bulldogs and Laconia Leafs in the showcase.
