The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights are dedicated to building a winning tradition in the Atlantic Junior and Metropolitan Junior Hockey Leagues. Through our focus in excellence on and off the ice, we are establishing the Knights as the premier Tier III AJHL and MJHL organization in North America.
The AJHL was formed in 2003 to meet the current and future needs of the Junior hockey community and the players it serves in the Eastern United States. The MET League was formed in the 1960s and is the longest established junior hockey league in the country. The AJHL/MJHL has since demonstrated its ever improving and continued college placement and draft success by helping its players further their hockey and academic skills in preparation for college and professional
opportunities.
The AJHL/MJHL is now seen as a leader and innovative developer of Junior aged talent, with many of its players realizing success at advanced levels of play.
Each individual players development is one of our primary goals within our organization’s mission. Our coaching staff will spend a great deal of time developing our players skills in practice. The Knights players will develop their bodies athletically through a structured in-season workout program at the Revolution Training Center. We will expect that our players enrolled in school, overachieve, and we will provide the support and structure to ensure that. The WBS Knights employ a full time certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and a certified exceptional coaching staff.
As a member of the WBS Knights, our players get to experience all of the cultural benefits of Northeast Pennsylvania, continue to build on their academic and athletic goals, and join our mission to bring the Presidents Cup, Keegan Cup, and National Championships, to Wilkes-Barre Scranton, PA.
Sincerely yours,
Justin Lyle
