Knights Inaugural Captain Commits to Suffolk

The Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Knights are proud to announce Andrew Ball’s commitment to Suffolk University. Ball will suit up for the Rams next season and will be a great addition on the blue line for the organization.

“Andrew is a great player and has worked hard to move to the NCAA level,” stated GM Paul Maciejewski. “He was our captain and leader for the Knights in the first season with our junior franchise. He was a strong leader that led by example and never took a night off.”

Ball moved to the Knights from a great Jr. Titans (MET) program and worked hard in his one year with the Knights to develop into an NCAA player. He was named to the AJHL All Star game and led all Knights defensemen in goals, assists and points. He then continued on to the Philadelphia Little Flyers where he had a solid playoff run. Andrew is looking forward to an exciting college hockey career at Suffolk.

“It is great to see after only one year in the AJ, the Knights have begun the placement of players into the college hockey ranks,” stated Knights MET Head Coach, Ace Roque. “We plan to continue our growth as an organization and continue to place the players we develop here in Wilkes-Barre / Scranton into some of the top college hockey programs across the United States.”

The entire Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Knights organization wishes Andrew the best of luck next season at Suffolk University.
