The Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Junior Knights Hockey Organization is proud to announce its 5th Annual golf tournament. The golf outing is scheduled for Friday, September 30, 2011. There will be a 12:30pm shotgun start at the Mt. Airy Golf Resort.
You can sign up your foursome or individually starting September 1, 2011 at www.jrknightshockey.com or pick up a sign up sheet at the Revolution Ice Centre. The tournament will be a scramble format and there will be awards for lowest scramble score, as well as longest drive, straightest drive, closest to pin, casino hole and much much more.
Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the Jr. Knights program tuition assistance, travel & equipment fund. There are several levels of sponsorships, 100.00 tee box and 250.00 hole sponsorships. Sponsors will each have a sign (or can loan us their company banner, no bigger than 30″ x 60″), at either a tee box or green, receive an acknowledgement in the tournament brochure and will be listed as a sponsor on a large sign displayed at the clubhouse, cocktail hour and dinner. Also, we will accept gifts as donations, gift certificates, products, etc.
Entry fee is $110.00, per player and includes green fees, cart, a door prize, beverages and dinner along with great prizes and giveaways.
For each sponsor you can obtain, you will receive 50% of the sponsorship proceeds as a credit toward your tuition. Also, for each golfer you sign up, you will receive $10.00 credit toward your tuition as well. In order to receive the credit, you have to collect the sponsorship and golfer entry fee money on or before September 20th. Gift sponsorships will receive 10% of the stated gift amount. Eg: restaurant gift certificate of $50.00 would result in a credit of $5.00.

This is a great opportunity to lower your tuition for the 11-12 hockey season!!!
If you have participated in the past, as either a golfer, sponsor or by obtaining sponsorships, please do so again this year. If you have not participated before, I would encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to help out the program and defer some of your own costs as well. Also, if you have already committed an advertisement for the year, you don’t have to do so again, but should play.
