The Knights are pleased to announce their latest player commitment. Bryan Hodges has committed to the University of Southern Maine Huskies.
Bryan Hodges is a native of California who chose to play for the Knights in his last year of junior hockey eligibility. The 1994 birth year forward joined the Knights half-way through the season after rehabbing from a knee injury. In 20 games played, Hodges put up 1 goal and 6 assists. The 5-foot-11-inch, 180-pound forward brings puck skills and a physical aspect to the game.
“Bryan’s willingness to learn is an attribute that has helped him tremendously,” replied Head Coach/GM Justin Lyle when asked about Hodges. “He came in late and picked up the systems quickly. He comes in and stays late on the ice and is always looking to improve. I’m positive Bryan will do well for Southern Maine. They’ve recruited a quality player and person. I wish him and his family the best of luck.”
The University of Southern Maine is a multi-campus public university. Its primary campus is located in Portland, Maine. The Huskies program is an NCAA Division III team playing out of the Eastern College Athletic Conference – East.
“I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me throughout the process,” said Bryan Hodges. “I especially want to thank the Knights coaches and organization for helping me with this opportunity.” Hodges plans to study International Business upon entering the University of Southern Maine.
