A busy few weeks has just gotten busier for Joseph Campolieto. After committing to Union College to play division one hockey, and being named to the NHL Central Scouting Watch List, the defenseman has been traded to the Tri-City Storm.
Campolieto is one of the most tenured players in the Knights organization. In 32 games with the Knights NAHL team over the past two seasons, Campolieto had amassed four goals and 10 assists. He began this season scoring two goals and nine assists in his first 11 games.
“I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, having been able to coach and know Joseph has been an honor,” said Knights head coach Tom Kowal. “He’s been a great asset for us for a long time. I wish him the very best.”
The Knights organization is very happy for Joseph and his new opportunity. They want to express their thanks to him for his contributions over the course of his long career with the program and likewise wish him the best of luck.
